Your responsibilities

  • Documents result as appropriate on checklists, inspection reports and/or shop travelers.

  • May instruct, train and assists team members assigned to operate CNC machine tools and check the work produced.

  • Uses advanced shop mathematics and a variety of measuring tools and gages which require interpretation in various applications.

  • Requires judgment within limitations of general methods and standards.

  • Performs proper and safe material handling, by adhering to the weight limit policy, utilizing overhead cranes or lifting devices.

  • Maintains a high degree of quality and safety and keeps work area clean.

Who we are looking for

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Experience in CNC Setup and Operations

  • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player

  • Required the use of general mathematics.

Requires the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and handbook formulas.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Knowledge of working with engineering drawings, sketches, set up sheets, program printouts, specifications and instruction manuals.

  • Determines which procedures or methods to follow; selects work holding, boring jaws if necessary, tooling, speeds, feed rates and settings for new and unusual work and for standardized work when not prescribed and writes programs when required.

  • Perform first article and in-process inspections.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $27.03/hr to $31.86/hr

  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
