Job Summary and Qualifications

The Lead Echo Technologist will expertly perform a variety of technical procedures, applying prescribed Ultrasound examinations for diagnosis. This role requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The Lead Echo Technologist is responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care and comfort, completing required procedures, and instructing/orienting new staff, senior staff, and student technologists in the techniques essential for Ultrasound procedures. This position involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients of all ages, including toddlers, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, demonstrating the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs, possessing knowledge of growth and development, and understanding the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

  • (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer

  • Vocational School Graduate
