Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Tech Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.

Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.

Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.

Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing patient radiation exposure.

Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
-
Verify patient identity and review physician orders prior to procedures.

Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to their needs.

Inspect and maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support patient care.
Minimum Qualifications

Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Tech.

Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
