Job Description
Saint Luke’s Health System Women's Clinics are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to be an integral part of our provider team that delivers high quality patient-centered medical care to our community. This position is responsible for assisting providers in the evaluation, management and delivery of professional medical care in a busy multi-specialty or primary care physician practice. This position is full time Monday-Friday (some Saturdays), with no holidays. Position is 8:30am-5pm located in Overland Park, KS
Specific duties include:

Provide an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Conduct Pre-visit plans, room patients and obtain vitals

Phlebotomy as needed
-
Administer injections and coordinate vaccines
-
Assist providers with procedures
-
Utilize the EMR system and scan/download documents
-
Complete various administrative tasks as needed such as prior authorizations, RX refills, etc.

Conduct telephone screening (with protocols)

Cover front office responsibilities as needed

Travel between Saint Luke’s Multispecialty clinic locations may be required
