The Department of Neurological Sciences at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine ( LCOM ) and University of Vermont ( UVM ) Health seeks to recruit a fellowship-trained, board-certified neurologist with board-certified/board-eligible qualifications in clinical neurophysiology to join the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at UVM Health in the role of Division Chief.

This is a full-time 1.0 FTE clinical position as attending physician and Division Chief, Division of Epilepsy in the Department of Neurology at UVM Health and a corresponding faculty appointment in LCOM’s Department of Neurological Sciences. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in epilepsy, including epilepsy surgery evaluation, with an additional interest in clinical/translational research and/or resident, fellow, and medical student education.

The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at UVM Health serves a population base of approximately 1.2 million providing patients from Vermont and Upstate New York with access to an active Epileptic Monitoring Unit ( EMU ) and intraoperative electrophysiology monitoring program.

Anticipated Pay Range

Assistant Professor: $315,000 – $325,000

Associate Professor: $325,000 – $335,000

Professor: $335,000 – $345,000

The referenced salary ranges reflect the combined total range based on dual employment by both the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Medical Group. The salary ranges do not include all components of compensation. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary ranges stated herein.
