Overview
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Millbury, MA
Schedule: Monday through Friday
PRN and part-time are also available
Compensation: hourly rate from $30/hr to $35/hr based on experience
Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient orthopedic center is seeking alicensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients.We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.
Central MA location. We have a strong relationship with area high school sports medicine programs, physican group and total joint program. We see a divers patient population including sports med, pre/post op and general ortho. Excellent mentorship available!

Responsibilities
-
Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications

College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
-
Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)

CPR Certification
