Primary Responsibilities:
-
Prepare surfaces for painting such as sanding, cleaning, and applying primer
-
Select and mix paints to match colors and textures
-
Safely operate painting equipment and tools
-
Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area
-
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Minimum Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a painter
-
Ability to climb ladders safely
-
Proficiency in operating man lifts
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Knowledge of building and facilities maintenance practices is a plus
-
Painting techniques and processes
-
Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes
-
Ability to work independently and in a team
-
Good physical condition and stamina to handle manual labor
-
Excellent time management skills
-
Valid driver's license
