The Opportunity:
As a member of CACI’s trajectory team in Santa Maria, CA, you will assist with launch vehicle trajectory simulations & analyses and launch day operations performed in support of critical U.S. spacecraft missions.
Responsibilities:

Develop and analyze computer simulations for launch vehicle trajectories.
-
Assist senior engineers with trajectory verification and validation analyses.

Generate trajectory simulations for real-time flight displays on launch day.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
B.S., or higher, in Aerospace Engineering.
-
Must be a US Citizen
-
Course work in Astronautics (orbital mechanics, spacecraft attitude dynamics, etc.).
-
Ability to analyze flight mechanics processes using engineering principles.
-
Proficiency with MATLAB scripting, plotting and data processing.
Desired:
-
Experience developing, troubleshooting, analyzing flight vehicle simulations.
-
Programming and scripting skills: Perl, Python, FORTRAN, C++.

Experience and/or course work in the following areas:

Optimization techniques

Probability analysis

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$63,800 - 127,500 USD
