School Psychologist – School-Based Opportunities – Full-Time

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking School Psychologists for multiple school-based opportunities for the upcoming school year.

Position Details

  • Start Date: August 12, 2026

  • Duration: 40 Weeks

  • Schedule: 37.5 Hours Per Week

  • Openings: 3

  • Pay: Up to $65/hr local

  • Travel Packages Available

  • Fully In-Person Positions

Assignment Overview

  • Serve students across multiple grade levels

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility assessments

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

  • Support student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

  • Assist with special education compliance and documentation

  • Potential to support multiple campuses within the district

Position Highlights

  • Caseloads approximately 85-100 students

  • District utilizes SPED counselors to help reduce counseling responsibilities

  • Strong support from special education teams

Requirements

  • Valid School Psychologist License/Credential

  • Master's Degree in School Psychology or related field

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment

  • Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred

  • Master’s degree in psychology preferred

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
