What You'll Do

Responsibilities

As a Wood Shop Assembler, you'll help manufacture high-quality elevator components while working with a variety of woodworking equipment and production tools. Responsibilities include:

  • Assemble wood components for elevator products according to specifications and drawings.
  • Operate woodworking machinery including table saws, routers, CNC routers, and hand and power tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions.
  • Perform accurate measuring, cutting, drilling, fitting, and assembly of materials.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately.
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a wood shop, cabinetry, or elevator manufacturing environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and assembly experience.
  • Experience operating woodworking equipment such as:
  • Table saws
  • Routers
  • CNC routers
  • Hand and power tools
  • Ability to read measurements and use common shop tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Dependable work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

This Position Requires Employees To

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift materials.
  • Use hands for fine motor tasks and operate hand and power tools.
  • Lift up to 100 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
  • Have sufficient vision, hearing, depth perception, and color recognition to safely perform job duties.
