Hamilton Fulton Montgomery BOCES PTECH program is looking for a Long-Term Substitute Agriculture Teacher. This position is from 10/12/2026-12/23/2026.

Uncertified Rate - $155 per diem

Certified Rate - $170 per diem

PTECH, or Pathways in Technology Early College High School, is a 6-year program that incorporates project based learning and professional skills training as students work toward their 2-year degree from SUNY Fulton-Montgomery or SUNY Cobleskill (depending on the degree pathway) at no cost to their families.

In PTECH’s “innovation spaces,” students focus on group collaboration and hands-on learning. PTECH aims to look and function more like a hybrid between college and the workplace. It emphasizes individualized pathways to completion, workplace experiences, mentorship, in-depth project-based learning and real-world experiences.

Job Qualifications

Valid NYS 7-12 Teaching Certificate preferred.

TEACH Clearance Per Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, to be employed in a position designated by a school district or BOCES as involving direct contact with students, a clearance for employment from the State Education Department is required. Formal job offer/selection is contingent on candidate's ability to obtain a fingerprint security clearance through the TEACH system prior to working.
