Job description
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
- Must be capable of developing calibration testing procedures, in cooperation with the requesting engineer, for each piece of equipment based on technical specifications and end use.
o Some equipment is located off-site.

Measurement errors must be quickly identified and corrected.

Instruments that require inspection and repair may be of an acoustical, chemical, electrical, fluid, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, or thermodynamic nature.

Compile, measure and record data (as-found & as-left) from each instrument, and maintain the associated calibration database.

Additional tasks may include training subordinates, ordering replacement parts for faulty equipment, and researching/instituting advances in calibration techniques (such as but not limited to Cpk).

Required – Calibration, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Quality, or Systems Engineering; Associate of Applied Science, Engineering Technologies degree, 2-year vocational or equivalent education/experience
Preferred - Calibration Engineering Technology Associate of Applied Science or Calibration Technician Certification Program
Experience -
Required – 2 to 3 years in industrial or manufacturing calibration experience
Preferred – 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing calibration experience, with some pneumatic calibration experience
Special Knowledge/Skills -
