Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Heart Clinic of Hammond US Heart and Vascular | Hammond, LA Full Job Description US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at the Heart Clinic of Hammond. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform PETCT scans
  • Explain medical procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have
  • Follow safety procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required
  • Operate imaging equipment
  • Maintain detailed and accurate procedure records
  • Follow all radiation safety and disposal procedures

Requirements, Skills, and Abilities

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
  • Registered with ARRT or NMTCB
  • CT/Fusion certification
  • BLS/CPR certification
