Full job description
Progressive Auto Group seeks a Full Time Parts Counter Sales Associate for our Massillon, Ohio dealership.
Position Purpose:
As an Entry Level Parts Counter Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Progressive Auto Group's clean and safe parts departments. Our talented team of skilled supervisors invest in our entry level parts counter associates by teaching them how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. Full time benefits and many training opportunities are available
Examples of Duties:

Assist technicians with locating and ordering needed parts
-
Respond to customer parts or information requests quickly
-
Communicate with customers when a Back Order will occur and offer alternatives
-
Determine availability and price information and document this information as necessary
-
Provide part to customer from stock, procure locally or create a parts order as directed
-
Monitor the status of customer orders, advising in case of problems and notifying upon arrival

Inventory control maintenance
-
Capable of loading and unloading of freight with forklift
-
Knowledge and able to ship and accept freight from motor carriers, UPS or FedEx
-
Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner
Requirements:

High School degree or equivalent
-
Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive or truck mechanics

Ability to lift at least 25-50 pounds
-
Good communication skills
-
Professional appearance and work ethic
-
Great attitude with a high-energy personality
-
CDK experience preferred
-
GM, CDJR or Dealership experience preferred

Forklift certification preferred
