Licensed Practical Nurse – Dilwyn, VA

Local Pay: 36.00/hour

Shift Details:

  • 7.00pm - 7.30am (Night)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

  • Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

  • Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

  • Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

**Minimum Qualifications **

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedVAlicense/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as aLicensed Practical Nurse

  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents
