Full job description

MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Commercial Logistics Planners to join our team in Dallas Texas, Oahu Hawaii and Subic Bay Philippines .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as the final Technical Authority and Principal Logistics Subject Matter Expert for planning, coordinating, and synchronizing commercial logistics and sustainment operations across the task order lifecycle.

  • Authorize enterprise-level logistics frameworks supporting supply chain operations, transport networks, distribution channels, and maintenance programs while validating absolute alignment with DoD policies, joint logistics doctrine, and theater-specific legal mandates.

  • Directs the strategic integration of commercial logistics capabilities, managed attribution approaches, and resilient sustainment models across distributed and contested D-DIL (Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, and Limited) environments within the USPACOM AOR.

  • Authorize high-level courses of action (COA) for steady-state and contingency profiles, validate master logistics common operational picture (LOGCOP) and universal logistics tracking metrics (ULM) data architectures, and approve multi-organizational theater movement control strategies between commercial providers, joint commands, and Special Operations Forces.

  • Provides strategic leadership, guidance, and expert mentoring to subordinate planning personnel while collaborating directly with Knowledge Managers, Business Integration Suite Analysts, and Program Managers to drive data-driven executive decision-making and optimize regional resource allocation grids.

NOTE: Multiple levels of seniority are available based on qualifications and experience. Please see below.

Minimum Qualifications:

Lead Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field and 12+ years of position-relevant experience in logistics planning, supply chain management, or sustainment operations within DoD, Joint, or operational environments (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).

Mid Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).

  • Demonstrated ability to draft technical logistics documentation and follow established SOPs.

Senior Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience in logistics planning, supply chain management, or sustainment operations in DoD, Joint, or operational environments (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).

  • Experience developing and executing Logistics Plans supporting transportation, distribution, maintenance, and sustainment operations.

  • Experience working with logistics and operational systems and data to support planning, tracking, and execution.

  • Strong understanding of DoW logistics concepts, joint logistics doctrine, and operational planning processes.

  • Experience analyzing logistics requirements, risks, and constraints and developing courses of action.

  • Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations, including military units, Government agencies, and commercial partners.

  • Experience supporting operations in distributed or contested environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field and 15+ years of experience.

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or related elite credentials.

  • Extensive experience directing logistics operations for USSOCOM, TSOCs, or theater combatant commands within the Indo-Pacific region.

  • Expert-level knowledge of integrating logistics data feeds into Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) environments.

Clearance Required:

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
