The Design Lead is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex tool installation design packages, overseeing projects that can range from 15 to over 200 pages in scope. In addition to managing scope, schedule, and budget to ensure timely and cost-effective execution, the Design Lead proactively removes roadblocks and enables design teams to work efficiently. The role requires the ability to independently oversee a high volume of work—typically 10-15 concurrent tool packages—while maintaining quality and momentum with minimal oversight. Responsibilities also include conducting field verifications, to confirm design accuracy and constructability, and driving progress by identifying solutions and advancing workstreams even when dependencies fall outside of direct control.
