A Machinist Technician is responsible for providing fabrication support activities including loading robots and ensuring cleanliness of area. Position will utilize hand and power tools to remove burrs and slag from machined parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Plex system to determine product and procedure accuracy

  • Provide support to operators

  • Remove sharp edges/weld spatter from the entire part with hand tools and pneumatic grinders/buffers

  • Perform final quality inspection of parts prior to painting processes

  • Prepare part for transport to other departments

  • Daily inspection of equipment to ensure safety and efficiency

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods

  • Ability to perform repetitive operations

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate these skillsets:

  • Blueprint reading experience

  • Ability to work as part of a team and undergo cross-training

  • Effective communications skills

*Relocation is not available for this position.

All training will be on 1st shift for up to 2 months before moving to hired shift.

Summary Pay Range:

$20.10 - $26.10
