Location: Walnut Creek, CA

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000

Schedule: Onsite | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are partnering with a well-established boutique Wealth Management firm in Walnut Creek managing approximately $1B in assets under management. Known for its long-tenured team, organic growth, and white-glove client service, the firm is seeking a Client Service Associate to support two experienced Wealth Advisors and play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to be part of a stable, client-focused RIA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to two Wealth Advisors.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests, ensuring timely and professional communication.

  • Prepare, process, and track new account openings, account maintenance, money movements, transfers, and beneficiary updates.

  • Coordinate and follow up on client paperwork while ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Assist with meeting preparation, client reviews, and follow-up items.

  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the CRM.

  • Work closely with Charles Schwab to process client requests and resolve account-related inquiries.

  • Monitor outstanding service requests and proactively communicate updates to clients and advisors.

  • Coordinate with custodians and other third-party providers to ensure a seamless client experience.

  • Support ongoing operational projects and contribute to process improvements as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Client Service Associate, Client Relationship Associate, or Wealth Management Operations role.

  • Experience supporting Financial Advisors within an RIA or Wealth Management firm.

  • Hands-on experience working with Charles Schwab as a custodian (nice to have)

  • Strong understanding of account opening, ACAT transfers, money movements, and general client service workflows.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $85,000-$100,000, depending on experience.
