The Physical Therapy Aide performs designated routine tasks to the operation of the physical therapy service and may assist the physical therapist in setting up patient for therapy and/or assisting the therapist in carrying out treatment program.
Qualifications / Job Requirements:

Possesses either a high school diploma or equivalency.

Certification as Nurses Aide preferred

Must demonstrate ability to follow complex directions.

Must have physical strength sufficient to assist patients in completion of rehabilitative therapies such as weight transfer, gait training, etc.

Must have ability to communicate with patients and family members in empathetic fashion in support of rehabilitative goals.
