Job Duties

Seasonal Tax Preparation

  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality by arriving on time and be prepared for all scheduled client appointments while providing a professional, client-focused experience.

  • Prepare and e-file accurate individual/business income tax returns

  • Review, analyze, and enter client document information accurately

  • Assemble client folders and file copies of completed returns

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information

  • Stay current on tax law and relevant updates

  • Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers to gather or provide required information

  • Escalate complex or unusual situations appropriately

General Support

  • Provide customer service and facility coverage when needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education Required

High school diploma or GED required

Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

Valid PTIN required prior to preparing returns

Minimum Experience Required

Two or more tax seasons of professional tax preparation experience

Experience preparing individual income tax returns required

Knowledge of small business tax returns preferred

background in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance preferred
