PROJECT MANAGER
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team. The position will require you to work primarily in an office setting as you help our construction team meet the needs of our valued and high profile clients. The primary focus will be managing projects in various parts of the country, ensuring our work is completed safely, on time, within budget and meeting quality expectations. Roles include but are not limited to, job walk downs, estimating, proposal development, scheduling, cost tracking, weekly and monthly forecasting, and construction planning. In addition, this role is expected to develop a strong, trusting relationship with our clients so that conflicts and needed changes are addressed quickly. The position requires strong communication with our clients, vendors, and sub-contractors to ensure our work quality not only meets but exceeds expectations. Applicants must have 5 years of experience in construction/project management or related fields, strong communication and computer skills, accounting and business management knowledge, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Assume overall responsibility for a profitable, well-constructed, safe project
-
Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
-
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
-
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
-
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
-
Report and escalate issues to management as needed
-
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
-
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
-
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
-
Preform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Proven project management experience.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
-
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience
-
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
-
Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
-
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Primavera.

Physical activity for the role includes:
-
May experience variable weather conditions during site visits, including hot and cold weather
-
Standing, and walking for long periods, on variable terrain
-
Repeated lifting of up to 50 lbs
-
Repeated motions such as kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching overhead
-
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
