Power & Construction Group, Inc. has an opening for an Experienced Qualified Laborer with the Gas Division.

Salary Range: $21-$29/hr. generous prevailing wage work

Location: Rochester, NY

Essential Functions:

  • Communicate and work with crew to complete jobs in a timely manner

  • Manual labor, including but not limited to digging with a hand shovel or bar to expose live utilities, heavy lifting, climbing in and out of trenches

  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance on equipment and tools

  • Demonstrate safe and proper use of tools and equipment

  • Employee reports directly to job site on a daily basis

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • NGA Gas Op Quals required

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are required

  • CDL-B license a plus, not required

  • Have no lifting or physical restrictions

  • OSHA 10 Certification preferred

  • Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather

  • Equipment knowledge a plus
