JOB SUMMARY:

As an adjunct faculty member in Adelphi University's esteemed PMHNP Masters of Science program, you will empower students to unlock their fullest potential. Join us on this rewarding path. The Adelphi PMHNP program is acclaimed for its commitment to rigor while supporting student success. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teaching specialty didactic and clinical courses.

  • Assessing clinical competencies and theoretical knowledge while supporting comprehensive learning.

  • Provide mentorship to the next generation of PMHNPs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Earned PMHNP master's degree or a post-graduate certificate.

  • ANCC board certification as a PMHNP.

  • A current, unrestricted NYS PMHNP license.

  • Two or more years’ experience treating patients as a PMHNP.

  • A background in education, whether through formal teaching roles or as a preceptor is preferred, but not required.

  • Earned DNP, PhD, or other terminal degree is preferred, but not required.

SALARY INFORMATION:
