PAY RATE: $16.78 - $22.65 BASED ON RELEVANT EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 5:00AM-1:30PM, 10:00AM-6:30PM, 12:30PM-11:00PM

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for collecting blood for laboratory analysis and performing point-of-care testing for bleeding time.

This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED:

  • Completion of a Phlebotomy Training Program

  • Previous patient care experience

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

  • ASCP registration is encouraged but not required

PAY STATUS

  • Non-exempt hourly
