3310 Concord Road, Lafayette, IN, United States | Lafayette, IN | Hourly | 20-25 per hour | Full Time

The Kelly Group is seeking a Tool Repair Technician for its Lafayette, Indiana, location. Candidates should have experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining hand tools, power tools and related shop equipment.

This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in a wide variety of tools and equipment

  • Disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble tools according to manufacturer specifications

  • Replace worn or defective components such as switches, cords, bearings, brushes, gears and housings

  • Test tools for proper operation, performance and safety prior to return to customers

  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and parts tracking

  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair estimates, timelines and status updates

  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

  • Other duties as assigned
