Full job description

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education

  • Must be licensed in the State of Arkansas as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. CPR certified.

  • Experience

  • Prefer one year of Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant experience. Sound clinical skills and demonstrated good judgment. Ability to problem-solve and plan effectively. Effective oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills.

  • Physical

  • This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.

  • Requires physical strength to perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to work required schedule. Hearing within normal range. Frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds, and carrying up to 35 pounds, and lifting up to 100 pounds.

  • JOB SUMMARY

  • The Occupational Therapist Assistant assists occupational therapists in providing occupational therapy treatments and procedures. May, in accordance with state laws, assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, direct activity programs, and document the progress of treatments.
