Responsibilities:

Performs routine office procedures safely and effectively.

Responsible for the daily maintenance of the laboratory area and equipment logs.

Collects updated patient information and charts patient exams in the EMR within the time parameters of the patient appointment.

Handles patients’ private health information within the guidelines of HIPAA and company privacy practices.

Administer medications and treatments as directed.

Assist other healthcare professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures, treatments, and minor medical procedures.

Provide patient education materials and communicate physician advice/instructions.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Required

Graduate of a Medical Assistant (MA) Program and eligible to be Certified as a Medical Assistant (CMA)

Minimum Experience Required

Willingness and ability to work and travel between all five clinic locations in Vadnais Heights, Woodbury, Eagan, and Lakeville, MN and Hudson, WI.

Valid Driver’s License

BLS or CPR certified or willingness to become certified.

A resident of Minnesota/Western Wisconsin or in the process of relocating to Minnesota.
