Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) –Las Vegas, NM

Local Pay: $27.00/ hour

Shift Details:

  • 2 Evening Shift and 2 Nights Shift (8-hour shifts)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled care to Veterans/residents, including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, and transfers.

  • Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and residents’ physical and emotional condition; promptly report changes to the nurse.

  • Maintain resident hygiene, comfort, cleanliness, and safety, including fall prevention and use of safety devices as directed.

  • Follow infection control, emergency, and facility safety protocols.

  • Document care provided accurately in daily logs or electronic medical records and participate in shift hand-off reports.

  • Provide respectful emotional support, encourage independence, and uphold residents’ rights, dignity, and privacy.

  • Assist residents with recreational and social activities.

  • Work under the supervision of an RN or LPN and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant

  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)

  • An active, current CNA license in applicable state or reciprocation and must be in good standing

  • BLS through American Heart Association or equivalent

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements.
