Full job description
We are a growing, local manufacturing company looking for the right Welder to join our group. Duties will include Welding MIG and/or TIG. Under the direction of the shop leader, your primary job function will be processing parts in a safely and efficiently manner while following safety guidelines.
Pay Rate Range: $19.00-$28.00 per hour (Wage review after 90 days)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:00am to 03:30pm (Fridays OT as needed)
Job Type: Full-time direct hire

Job responsibilities may include:

Understands and follows all of our company's safety policies and procedures required for the job.

Perform MIG and/or TIG welding.

Follow detailed weld repair procedures and practices.

Perform all set-up of welding equipment.
-
Cleaning up all equipment and work area at end of day.

Read and follow all process documentation and operator instructions.
-
Meet all productivity and quality standards.
-
All employees are expected to read blueprints and perform some prefabricated work.

Must be flexible to work overtime and any shift as required.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Other tasks as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
-
Previous manufacturing experience a plus but not required

High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Welding certification and/or MIG/TIG welding work experience required.

TIG welding: 2 years (Required)
-
MIG welding: 2 years (Preferred)
-
Must pass welder Interview Test.

Thorough knowledge of welding processes and procedures.
-
Experience interpreting blueprints, operator instructions, and process documentation.

Ability to work in a hot and wet environment.

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Be a “driving force” to keep the line moving steadily.
