Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 7171 N DALE MABRY HWY City: TAMPA State: Florida Postal Code: 33614 Job Description:

Administers prescribed medication via inhalation and oxygen therapy according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments accurately and timely. Educates patients and family members about illnesses and clinical interventions. Adheres to department standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensures patient documentation is accurate and complete. Cleans and stocks respiratory equipment regularly. Participates in Code Blue and Rapid Response Team activities. Administers non-invasive therapy for patients of all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. Provides clerical assistance as required by the department. Performs setup of Holter monitors, electrocardiograms, cardiac stress tests, and exercise oximetry as ordered. Assists with patient transports requiring respiratory intervention and maintains intubation boxes. Performs peripheral intravenous line insertion and pacer interrogations as needed. Maintains Autopaps for use. Other duties as assigned.** $10,000 sign on bonus for eligible applicants ** Relocation bonus for eligible applicants

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must possess good verbal and written communications skills. [Required]
• Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently [Required]
• Knowledge of outpatient hospital services. [Required]
• Ability to work closely with physicians. [Required]
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge, training and experience in hyperbaric chamber maintenance and minor repair [Preferred]
• Operational knowledge of NFPA99, gas handling, Hyperbaric Safety Codes, PVHOI and 2 CGA and other safety related Guidelines. [Preferred]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Vocational/Technical School [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ year of clinical hyperbaric experience [Preferred]

Additional Information:

• Completion of a 40 hour Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) or National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine Technology (NBDHMT) approved Hyperbaric Medicine Introductory Course [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$21.77 - $40.48 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
