Position Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman to lead repairs and maintenance on life safety systems, including Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, Clean Agent, and Fire Pumps.

Skilled

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Troubleshoot and repair fire protection systems based on inspections and emergency calls.

  • Disable and enable fire alarm panels for service.

  • Select appropriate pipe sizes, materials, supports, and hangers for installation.

  • Perform cutting, fitting, and pipe connections using threaded, soldered, brazed, or grooved joints.

  • Inspect and test systems using NFPA guidelines and approved equipment.

  • Complete job reports, including time, progress, materials, and labor.

Qualifications

  • CSA Certifications (Preferred)

  • ASCR2 - Sprinkler Commercial Residential On-Site Competent Person (Preferred)

  • FEX - Fire Extinguishers (Preferred)

  • FPU2 - Fire Pump Installation and Service (Preferred)

  • Previous experience in fire protection or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and repair techniques.

  • Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.

  • Safe use of hand tools, power tools, and layout tools.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

  • Must have required tools.

  • Ability to meet physical demands, including climbing (up to 200 ft), working in confined spaces, and outdoors in all weather.

  • Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.

  • Pass pre-employment drug and background screening.

  • Comply with all safety and project rules.

Base Compensation: $40.00 to $50.00+ per hour

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
