Psychiatric Nurse PractitionerSchedule:Full Time, Days Only, No Weekends/Holidays or On-CallPay:$155,000 + based on experienceLocation:Cortland County $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

ThePsychiatric Nurse Practitionerprovides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychopharmacology services in an outpatient clinic setting. This role works collaboratively with patients, the Clinic Psychiatrist, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care through in-person services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management, including psychopharmacology services and monitoring of treatment effectiveness

  • Collaborate with patients and appropriate collateral contacts to assess treatment outcomes, monitor progress, and determine the ongoing course of care

  • Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans, ensuring required reviews are completed accurately and within established timelines

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential electronic clinical documentation, including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and information required to support billing

  • Partner with the Clinic Psychiatrist, Director of Clinic Services, and clinic team to coordinate care, participate in team meetings, and provide coverage for the Clinic Psychiatrist as needed

  • Deliver services in accordance with professional, regulatory, credentialing, and agency standards, including maintaining required licensure and certifications and providing services at the primary clinic, satellite locations, via telehealth, or in the community as needed

Requirements

  • Current New York State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license

  • ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification

  • Minimum of one year of post-degree experience in a human services setting

  • Current DEA registration and CAQH account

  • Eligibility for Medicare and New York State Medicaid billing

Salary Description

$155,000 +DOE
