Full job description
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Fabrication Support Temporary to join their team. As a Fabrication Support, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Fabrication Support - Temporary
Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay Range: $20+/hour
Shifts: 4th Shift: Friday - Sunday: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
-OR-
B Shift: Monday - Wednesday: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM and Thursday: 6:30 PM - 12:30 AM.
What's the Job?

Exhibit active leadership to model and support the company’s vision, culture, and strategies.

Ensure that safety is always the number one priority by promoting and supporting a safe work environment.

Set up and run equipment safely and efficiently to maximize output while meeting customer quality requirements.
-
Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders by reviewing manufacturing orders and packaging based on specifications.

Perform general machine maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition and provide suggestions for process improvements.
What's Needed?

Basic computer skills.
-
High school diploma or GED required.

Ability to recognize safety concerns and utilize proper inspection equipment.

A highly motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic math skills and the ability to detect minor defects in products.

Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts according to customer specifications.
