Full job description

Job Summary: - Provide clinical diagnostic radiology services consistent with departmental needs.

  • Maintain an active clinical practice while fulfilling administrative responsibilities.

  • Participate in resident, fellow, and medical student education.

  • Participate in departmental conferences, multidisciplinary conferences, and educational activities.

  • Engage in scholarly activities appropriate for an academic faculty member.

  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and institutional initiatives.

  • Maintain all required certifications, licensure, credentialing, and hospital privileges.

  • Support departmental goals related to education, clinical excellence, research, and service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

  • Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology.

  • Eligible for or possess an unrestricted New York State medical license.

  • Current academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher (or eligible for appointment).

  • Minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in Graduate Medical Education.

  • Demonstrated commitment to resident education and academic excellence.

  • Eligible to serve as an ACGME Diagnostic Radiology Program Director.

Preferred Qualifications:

Work Days:

Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 p.m.
