What You'll Do

The After Office Hours Program Director will provide high-quality psychological care and support to a diverse outpatient population of children, adolescents, and families in the Pediatric Behavioral Health Care After Hours Center.

Lead and oversee clinical operations, ensuring effective coordination of patient care and treatment management.

Direct the day-to-day activities and supervision of clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Assess patients' clinical needs and develop individualized treatment recommendations.

Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including behavioral stabilization services.

Provide individual, family, and crisis support services to promote positive outcomes for patients and families.

Coordinate care and collaborate with community providers, schools, and other external partners as appropriate.

Monitor program effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Partner with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, and nurse practitioners to deliver comprehensive behavioral health services.

Ensure quality, compliance, and best practices in the delivery of outpatient behavioral health care.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD or PsyD and NYS licensed (or eligible) Psychologist required. Experience working with short term therapy approaches is required. Mental health experience working with child & adolescent patients required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Program Director in an Ambulatory setting preferred. Preferred Candidate with have experience working with a pediatric population across a spectrum of treatment modalities.
Work Days:

Evening and weekend shifts

Monday–Friday: Between 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Weekends: Between 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Flexible scheduling within these ranges to include 1 weekend day requirement a week

Salary Range: Starting salary $150,000 + dependent on experience
