Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment where quality care and patient progress are top priorities.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents

  • Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities

  • Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

  • Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Tennessee

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
