Full job description

Drive a company vehicle, to deliver or pick up client samples and packages within a specified area. Directly reports to Client Service Supervisor, Client Ambassador or Director of Operations.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Operate on a routed schedule for pick up and/or delivery of materials within established timeframes

  • Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures

  • Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles

  • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles

  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.

  • Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with company regulations

  • Use of automatic routing or location software, such as a GPS, provided by the company.

  • Ensure that compliance to ISO 17025 standards is maintained

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned WORK SCHEDULE

  • Flexible part-time schedule with workdays occurring Monday through Saturday, based on assigned routes and business needs.

  • Shift hours will vary and may begin between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM , with end times ranging between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM .

  • Weekly schedules and daily hours are route-dependent and may vary from day to day. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED Required

  • Valid Drivers License Required

  • Clean driving record Required KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Is punctual, reliable, and exercises good judgment

  • Ability to interact with clients as a responsible representative of the company ADDITIONAL KSAS

  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast paced, highly professional environment. VISION REQUIREMENT  

  • Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches/50 centimeters or less)  Required

  • Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet/6 meters or more)  Required

  • Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given post)  Required

  • Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distance and three-dimensional relationship)  Required

  • Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)  Required
