Responsibilities
COTA - Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:

Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and rehabilitation goals
-
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
-
Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the EMR system
-
Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
-
Help patients improve independence, strength, and overall quality of life
Qualifications
COTA - Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant:
-
Current New York State COTA license required
-
Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferred
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Passion for working with geriatric / elderly populations
-

This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
