Reception Desk Clerk II, The Serve
Work Mode: Onsite
**Location: ** Kohler, WI
Opportunity
Responsible for extending a friendly greeting and farewell to facility users and performing duties relating to smooth operations at the reception desk. This person has been learning and continuing to master reception desk responsibilities.
Specific Responsibilities:

Greet members and guests by name according to standards and register usage in the computer.

Monitor and control access to all areas of The Serve.

Direct members and guests to appropriate areas of the building and answer inquiries.

Distribute keys to lockers and ensure accountability of all keys and identification cards.

Maintain knowledge of all The Serve policies and programs and provide explanations to members and guests.

Enforce facility rules and policies including SOPs, accident procedures, age restrictions and complaint handling.

Promote, accept and record reservations with confidence and accuracy.

Handle computer registrations, transactions, cash reconciliations and billing according to SOPs.

Respond to phone calls within 3 rings and route calls appropriately.

Maintain an orderly, neat appearance of the desk.

Assist in laundering towels and maintaining a constant supply of clean linen.

Conduct routine facility walk-throughs to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment.

Assist with stocking supplies throughout the facility and front desk areas.

Support general facility cleanliness, organization and appearance standards.

Accept comments, suggestions and complaints graciously and communicate outcomes to leadership.

Provide suggestions and communicate information regarding facility operations.

Achieve and maintain CPR and AED certification; First Aid certification is helpful.

Promote memberships, programs, events and Destination Kohler offerings.

Perform miscellaneous clerical duties, train Reception Desk Clerk I associates and assist the Front Desk Coordinator.

Remain cross-trained in the Facility Attendant role and manage multiple banks and billing processes accurately.
This is a full-time position working weekends and weekdays. Hours vary between 6:00 am - 9:00 pm.
Skills/Requirements

Reception Desk Clerk II requires 1-2 years of reception desk experience.

Outgoing personality, strong customer service skills, computer proficiency, communication skills, telephone skills and organizational skills are required.

Must be 18 years of age to sell alcohol.

Certification Requirements: Adult/Child CPR and Adult AED training can be completed on site shortly after employment at The Serve.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00 The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
