Full job description

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Mission, TX

Pay Range: $17.00 +0.25 (shift differential)

Shift: 2nd - 2PM To 10PM

What's the Job?

  • Support production equipment and facility assets through preventive and corrective maintenance

  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including PLCs, relays, switches, sensors, and heating elements

  • Maintain mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, cylinders, and control valves

  • Ensure reliable equipment performance by maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling, and heating systems

  • Document maintenance activities accurately and respond promptly to repair needs

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance highly recommended

  • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience as Maintenance Technician with knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic systems

  • Proficient in reading electrical and electronic diagrams and schematics

  • Basic knowledge of low-voltage electrical installations (110/220v)

  • Skilled in analyzing and resolving mechanical and electrical problems
