PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Lead Level 5 or Scientist/Principal Level 6, in Canoga Park, CA. Job ID#214739

Pay Rate: $79 - $84/hr

Job Description:

This position requires a highly experienced rotordynamics engineer with 9+ years of experience to develop solutions to unique or complex problems which have important effects on major programs. It requires advanced knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts, plus an extended knowledge of principles and practices in closely related disciplines.

The individual will join a senior staff engaged in design and analysis activities related to rocket engine turbomachinery. This position requires the candidate to have experience with performing rotordynamic analyses utilizing classical approaches and modeling. Experience conducting rotordynamic analyses in support of turbomachinery development and production related issues is required. Familiarity with correlating analyses and high frequency dynamic data desired. Candidate will report status and document results of analyses performed.

Skills:

9+ years of rotordynamics experience (B.S. or graduate degree count towards years of experience) in support of aerospace turbomachinery development and production programs. This includes performing rotordynamics analysis in addition to review of turbomachinery high frequency data.

Education:

Related B.S. or graduate degree
