Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in the care of ProMedica patients who have respiratory conditions.

You will assemble, operate and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment and help with clinical instruction.

In this role, you will teach patients about disease-specific processes, tobacco cessation and respiratory care services provided.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be enrolled and in good standing, or a recent graduate of, an accredited respiratory therapyprogram

  • Ohio facilities –must have a current Limited Permit License to render respiratory care services by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board in the state of Ohio

  • Current BLS

  • Membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care ​
