Full job description

About Clark Clark is building the trust infrastructure for the AI economy. We're starting with audit and accounting workflows—high-trust environments where reliability, accuracy, and security matter as much as productivity. Our platform helps firms automate complex workflows, deploy AI safely, and modernize how audit teams operate. We're building a category-defining company at the intersection of AI, audit, and enterprise trust.

The Role We are hiring an EA to the CEO to become the CEO’s operational leverage across scheduling, communication, company rhythm, recruiting, investors, customers, and day-to-day execution. This person will help the CEO move faster, stay focused, and operate with more clarity as Clark scales. You will own calendar management, meeting preparation, follow-through, internal coordination, travel, and special projects that keep the company moving. This is a high-trust role for someone who is organized, discreet, proactive, and excited to work directly with the CEO of a fast-moving AI company.

Why This Role Matters Clark is entering a phase where the company is scaling across engineering, AI, product, sales, customer success, audit domain expertise, infrastructure, and marketing. As the company grows, the CEO’s time becomes one of Clark’s most important resources. The EA to the CEO will protect that time, create operating leverage, and ensure important priorities do not fall through the cracks.

What You'll Do

  • Own the CEO’s calendar, scheduling, and meeting logistics

  • Manage internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO

  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and follow-up notes for key meetings

  • Coordinate meetings with customers, investors, candidates, advisors, and partners

  • Manage travel planning, expenses, and day-to-day logistics

  • Track follow-ups and ensure commitments are completed

  • Help maintain company operating cadence, including leadership meetings and weekly priorities

  • Support recruiting coordination for senior candidates and high-priority hires

  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

  • Take on special projects as needed across operations, recruiting, events, and company building

Who You Are

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Excellent written communication

  • Strong judgment and discretion

  • Able to manage many moving pieces at once

  • Proactive and comfortable anticipating needs before being asked

  • Calm under pressure and able to operate in a fast-moving environment

  • High ownership and follow-through

  • Excited to work in person with a small, intense, talent-dense team

Bonus

  • Experience at an early-stage startup

  • Experience supporting a founder or technical executive

  • Experience with recruiting coordination or candidate communications

  • Experience managing investors, advisors, or customer-facing scheduling

  • Experience building lightweight systems for executive operations

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k)

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Daily company-sponsored dinners

  • Company-provided equipment and tools

  • Opportunity to work in person with a talent-dense team building category-defining AI infrastructure for audit and accounting

The Environment

  • 5 days a week on-site in NYC — no remote or hybrid

  • Startup hours and pace — this isn't a 9-to-5

  • Flat structure, no hierarchy — everyone ships

  • High ownership — you own outcomes, not just tasks

Benefits

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Wellhub Platinum membership

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Free company dinner every day
