BAYADA Hospice is looking for Volunteers in Windham County!

BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking candidates for our Volunteer, Hospice position to be a part of our team in our Brattleboro office , located in Brattleboro , VT . This office services clients in territories throughout Windham County.

At BAYADA Hospice , we believe that our clients and their families deserve care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability. Your important work will help ensure that our clients come first and that our BAYADA caregivers have the support they need to be successful.

Volunteers Opportunities may include:

  • Track your volunteer hours (prep, travel and activity included) with the volunteer coordinator.

  • Patient visits (Companionship, Reading, Life review, Exercise)

  • Legacy projects to help the family remember their loved one (arts / cooking / music/ etc)

  • Reading, Movies, Crafts, Activities at Senior living facilities

  • Pet therapy (if you have a therapy animal)

  • Virtual projects from home or around your town (singing, art, crafts, reading, music)

  • Office projects (companionship calls or office help)

  • Gardening program assistance

  • Bereavement support

  • Vigil companionship

Qualifications:
