Full job description
You'll own the roadmap for Luma's core creative product, turning frontier AI research into pro-level photo and video tools that creators love, driving adoption and setting PM best practices from day one.
This is a consumer-facing product role for someone who lives in creative workflows and can move fast with imperfect data. You'll own strategy, user research, experimentation, and launches across a fast-moving surface. If you want a mature product to optimize rather than a fast-growing one to shape, this isn't it.
What You'll Own
-
Define and execute end-to-end product strategy, translating user insight into AI-driven creative features.
-
Launch and iterate on pro-level photo and video tools, growing active users.
-
Deepen engagement through new features and agentic tools.
-
Lead cross-functional sprints, balance trade-offs, and keep a clear roadmap.
-
Run user research with professional creators to validate ideas and tune engagement loops.
-
Establish A/B testing and analytics, and partner on go-to-market for launches.
First 90 Days
One way the first 90 could unfold.
-
Days 1–30 — Immerse & Diagnose: Learn the product, the creators, and where activation and engagement break down.
-
Days 30–60 — Ship & Validate: Launch or iterate a pro tool and move an activation or engagement metric.
-
Days 60–90 — Scale & Systemize: Set the experimentation and analytics cadence and a clear roadmap.
What You Bring
-
5+ years shipping consumer-facing creative or editing tools (web or mobile) for professional audiences.
-
Deep expertise in photo/video workflows and UI/UX prototyping.
-
Strong analytics: defining metrics, building funnels, and iterating on retention.
-
An excellent communicator with high agency in ambiguous environments.
-
A passion for AI and integrating generative and automation tech into a roadmap.
Nice to Have
-
Experience building or growing products for creative professionals.
-
Familiarity with Figma, Canva, Adobe, or 3D/creative platforms.
-
Experience on AI-native products or in fast-moving startups.
