Shearwater Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our Team in Lee's Summit, MO .
Position Responsibilities:

Liaison between Contract and Corporate employees;
-
Benefits administration including communication of benefit information;
-
Organize annual open enrollment;
-
Carry out recruitment effort for all entry level external candidates;
-
Routinely use creative methods for candidate outreach;
-
Announce and conduct interviews for internal position vacancies;
-
Provide new employee orientation;
-
Administer ethics and sexual harassment training programs;
-
Perform employee counseling to include addressing performance or personal concerns;
-
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations;
-
Conduct internal investigations of alleged wrongdoing;
-
Suggest options for resolution; Implement resolutions;
-
Coach supervisors regarding ways to improve their communication with subordinates;
-
Work with supervisors to identify opportunities for engaging employees;
-
Monitor progress of employees with performance issues; work with supervisors to ensure timely feedback to the employee;

Coordinates, reviews and submits all Federal Investigation paperwork;
-
Trained fellow HR Staff Members how to review, complete and submit Federal Investigation paperwork

Point of Contact for any requests for additional information for investigations;
-
Review and approve timesheets with supervisor input;
-
Review and approve or deny leave requests;
-
Manage FMLA and ADA accommodation usage and requests;
-
Ensure Service Contract Act compliance;
-
Review invoices for accuracy before submitting to Customer for payment;

Verify employment information;
-
Reconcile leave accounts;

Plan employee events such as holiday gatherings and award ceremonies
Position Requirements:

U.S. Citizen

Valid U.S, Driver’s License

Authorization to work in the U.S.

Must be able to pass drug screening and background check

Active security clearance preferred; not required

Minimum B.S. Degree
-
SHRM Certifications such as PHR, SPHR preferred
-
Minimum eight years’ progressive federal contractor human resource experience to include experience in Responsibilities listed above
-
Demonstrated payroll processing knowledge; Deltek, CostPoint and Fidelity experience preferred
-
Knowledge of government regulations i.e., SCA and Davis Bacon
-
Ability to create and encourage a culture of collaboration, professionalism and a thriving environment for teams and individuals to excel.

Experience interpreting National and International regulations pertaining to employment, benefits and payroll.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
-
Ability to offer creative solutions and drive initiatives to closure to improve quality, cost, and process inefficiencies

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to travel to conduct site visits, as necessary
