Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

• IV certification upon hire.

• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

• Current ACLS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.

Pay Transparency

West Anaheim Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $38.30 to $38.30. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
