Full job description
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting policy to ensure uniform application of regulations and processes; 2) Utilizing word processing and database management to retrieve data and incorporate it into reports; 3) Utilizing correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization to complete documents; and 4) Receiving visitors and/or screening phone calls to determine the nature of requests to direct callers to the appropriate person or office. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will issue visitor and vehicle entrance passes to authorized persons as directed by rules, regulations, and guidelines. You will conduct local files checks to determine the existence or absence of unfavorable information. You will compose security documentation for supervisor's signature which may include correspondence, reports, charts, messages, technical papers, or briefing presentations. You will use computer equipment and specialized, web-based law enforcement computer programs to establish, update, query, or print individual or vehicle registration information. You will access a personal identification system to issue vehicle passes and identification badges. You will respond verbally to inquiries for verification of security clearances recorded in security databases. Security clearance required: Secret
