Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Moderate to Severe) to support students in the La Quinta, CA area. Position Summary
The Special Education Teacher , under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, provides quality educational services to special education students from kindergarten through grade 12. This role includes planning and implementing individualized student programs, providing specialized instruction, offering tutorial assistance, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.
Pay Rate
?? $65.00 per Hour

Minimum Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
? Valid State Teaching Certificate as required by state and district regulations
? Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience preferred
? State Teacher Certification: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
? State Teacher Certification: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
? State Teacher Certification: Standard Special Education Teaching preferred
? Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
? Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
? Current CPR Certification (if applicable)
? TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
? Current Health Certificate (per contract or state requirements)
? Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
? Must be at least 18 years of age
